Peaches are undoubtedly one of the best summer fruits, and when grilled they make the ideal easy dessert at any barbecue. Let everyone choose their own toppings to keep the whole family happy!
Time – 10 minutes
Serves – 4
4 ripe peaches, halved and stones removed
Unsalted butter or rapeseed oil
Chopped mint leaves, to garnish
Preheat grill – preheat your grill until nice and hot. A plancha or sizzle plate also works well.
Grill peach halves – brush your peach halves with either unsalted butter, or rapeseed oil, and pop on the grill or plancha plate. Cook for a few minutes, until golden brown and softened.
Topping ideas – serve with chopped mint leaves to garnish, and add topping of your choice. Our favourite toppings for grilled peaches include ice cream for those hot summer days, cinnamon sugar butter, or a drizzle of honey!
